This Immunity Boosting Orange Smoothie packs a hefty dose of Vitamin C! It has a refreshing orange flavor with a hint of vanilla!
For my first recipe before the end of the year, I wanted to bring you something healthy to end the weight loss season off right! Smoothies are a great way to add fresh produce to your diet because they’re quick and easy to make. Plus, there are endless ways to combine ingredients to make deliciously healthy smoothies. For the past week, I’ve been drinking a smoothie every day and continue to come up with new flavor combinations.
There are a few smoothie recipes that I find myself going back to again and again because they’re just so good. One of those is this Banana Drink smoothie, another is a green smoothie and another is this Immunity Boosting Orange Smoothie!
This refreshing orange smoothie is great for this time of year when colds and other viruses are going around. Both fresh oranges and mango contain a good dose of Vitamin C, which can help protect our immunity.
When it comes to staying healthy, we’ll need to do a bit more than drink delicious smoothies. A combination of nutritious foods, exercise, stress reduction, and good old hand-washing are the best ways to prevent illness. I could write a whole series of posts about reducing stress, but for now, I’ll just say that consistent exercise is a great help.
